We have a "problem"

Example 1. This lovely collection of moss is on the top of my piano.
Example 2. This dinner plate full of moss.
Example 3. and this plate of moss have happily established residence here in the Rapplings' kitchen. I have two more planters also growing moss. My love of all things green and growing seems to have infected the smallest girls here with an uncontrollable need to collect every piece of moss they can find. But I seem to be able to keep these alive in my darkish kitchen much better than house plants!

Susan, what is it that you're studying for? I haven't caught the whole picture, but you have *so* captured my imagination and intrigued me! Maybe sometime soon we could get together and talk plants! :)

Landscape design and Turfgrass Management at Owens. We spend a lot of time at the Toledo Botanical Gardens, 1. because they are like family, 2. because I learn so much, 3. I'm a little crazy and love to volunteer. I'd love to talk plants anytime!!! You should come visit me at the gardens. I can show you around and/or put you to work as a volunteer. ~Susan

Moss Rocks. Maybe you can construct a vertical garden contraption for the kitchen window for all things moss.... with all that extra time you have. :)
